The Specialty Coffee Expo offers a complete experience for everyone in the coffee world. Roasters and retailers have the opportunity to showcase their products, interact with industry decision-makers, and enhance their professional careers through lectures and practical learning opportunities provided by the Coffee Expo. Food and beverage professionals were able to explore the most innovative and advanced products in the industry, learn about integrating specialty coffee into their business plans, and make face-to-face purchasing decisions at the event. Coffee enthusiasts, regardless of their professional background, participated in or watched coffee competitions, interacted with other coffee lovers at receptions and lunches, and deepened their knowledge of tasting, brewing, or roasting during educational programs.

At this year's edition in Chicago, we were able to witness the latest trends and innovations in the coffee industry. A vibrant and energetic atmosphere pervaded the event, with coffee enthusiasts and professionals coming together to share knowledge and experiences. Among the valuable insights, discussions revolved around the shortage of stock in the United States and the search for new suppliers, reflecting the importance of pricing in a post-pandemic market. One of the most remarkable surprises was Brazil's victory in the World Cup Tasters competition, along with setting a new record, a feat that highlighted Brazil and its growing relevance on the global stage. This event not only celebrated the industry's achievements but also inspired and motivated participants to continue raising the standard of coffee worldwide.

Additionally, the significant participation of Brazilians at the fair was notable, with many producers seeking business opportunities and knowledge about innovations to improve production and enter the international market. Cooperatives played a fundamental role in bringing a significant delegation of producers, promoting not only their products but also Brazil's image as a producer of high-quality coffees. Despite the disadvantage of the freshest crop not arriving for the event, Brazilian coffees impressed with their quality, showcasing producers' ability to maintain standards. The American café scene post-Covid-19 presented an opportunity for new producers to enter the market by offering quality coffees at an affordable price, which has become increasingly valued by the North American market in search of products that meet both quality demand and the need for savings.
