EllerS Coffee had the honor of participating in the traditional Field Days organized by the Procafé Foundation. Represented by Matheus Eller and Pâmela Benetório, our team had the opportunity to engage in a productive meeting with coffee growers, technicians, students, and other stakeholders interested in improving coffee farming. This event aims to showcase new technologies developed to optimize coffee field management, providing a rich exchange of information and experiences directly in the field, as well as presenting the latest research results conducted in the region.
About the farm
The farm where the Field Days took place is an experimental unit of the Procafé Foundation, located in Boa Esperança. With a total area of 17 hectares and an altitude of 840 meters, the property is entirely dedicated to coffee cultivation for experimentation, surrounded by the natural cerrado vegetation. Since February 2007, the Procafé Foundation has collaborated with CAPEBE (Cooperative of Boa Esperança) on this project, conducting various research and experiments with the aim of driving the development of coffee farming in the region.
Research in progress
During the event, 29 ongoing experiments were presented, covering key areas such as genetic improvement, pest and disease control, ecology and physiology, and nutrition. These studies aim not only to increase productivity and profitability for coffee growers but also to promote more sustainable practices in coffee production. EllerS Coffee's participation in this event reinforces our commitment to being at the forefront of innovation and contributing to the continuous advancement of high-quality coffee farming.
